Pattern Outside of the SE thread

Woohoo, I'm finally getting winter in Maine! Well winter with snow! Second Winter Weather Advisory within 3 days! Cross your fingers we get the high end of the snow since the last one was lower(4 inches but that was the low end) than expected!

Additional 2 week total snow for the western US. Many places in the Sierra Nevada are over 200" with one spot check of 266" (> 22 feet). And again, this is on top of what they've already received. Can you imagine the runoff this spring..

We will see how many tornadoes are found to have occurred, but I think there is a pretty good chance Oklahoma broke the state record for tornadoes in February (6 in 2009 and 1975).

If so, this would be the 3rd straight month Oklahoma has broke their tornado record in a specific month. December 2022 (8) and January 2023 (5) both had the most tornadoes in Oklahoma in a single December/January.

Idk about early April, seems a little bare for early April. Going to slow down and stall here come mid March tho… by then we probably will be in early April kinda look
