It is for most of us. Damn us if we can't score because of the lack of cold air.... which always seems to be the issue for all of us. And of course, we don't have a wedge this go around. All that snow pack to our north getting wasted.

This will be the best Dec pattern since 2010, will be a shame if we don’t see something out of this. Though, an Xmas winter event for TN and Deep South would be nice to see.

What you want to see is the closed upper low at the base of the trough try to dig more and separate from the northern part of the trough in the lakes. If you want to go for a memorable storm you want to energy digging in and feeding into the back of the trough to be a little more west. I'm not having a problem with anything. It's hard to get snow near Chattanooga....

I can count several times when the GFS/GEFS showed consistency with systems but never verified. The same can be said about the Euro but to less of an extent. If we get 72 hours out, and models are still showing something, I'll give in. But hey, I hope I'm wrong, White Christmas FTW!
