No, he’s right, you’re looking at the Valid time. The Init is still from 06z today.that's 18Z from Friday
We got my 4 yr old a 14 foot trampoline my wife somehow thinks I can put together in the dark on xmas eve. This storm is saving my butt!!! No way to do it in the rain and wind.

Yeah, I would forget about getting snow from this system. I know that sounds harsh, but it’s not good for anybody to hug the only model that barely has a storm in an unfavorable setup in the longer range.Nc gets shafted on the 12z GFS. Great run for tennessee, georgia and alabama though. Mountains really destroy hopes for snow in nc

In other words.. forget it.A massive, bombing cutoff ULL centered just off PCB crawling NE. That or Cold air over taking the squall line and dropping 6-12 inch an hour rates. Both as likely as getting a bite by a radioactive spider and thinking it’s ok to run around in multicolored spandex.
I know it’s not 2010. But didn’t the euro eventually cave to the GFS in the Christmas 2010 storm? The Euro says yes:

let's see what the 12z says...Gfs has been consistent for days...The Euro says yes:

It did, but that was a storm, not cold chasing rain.I know it’s not 2010. But didn’t the euro eventually cave to the GFS in the Christmas 2010 storm?
I also think that having the -AO is important as that is keeping the polar vortex weak where the cold can be tapped into.I’ll take a +PNA all day.
Don't be a hater for us west side folks.. lolThe Euro says yes:
