Same, 2 tornado warnings in 1 day, SBcape was practically non-existent yet this thing still printed out tornadoes View attachment 58643

I guess it wasn't as memorable in central NC. Also a lot has happened this year. But I remember, now that you're talking about it, that the Charlotte/upstate SC area got a ridiculous amount of tornado warnings earlier this year.

The 18z GEFS members. e17 for the win!
I dont know who Said these looked bad but low key this looks good for NC folks definitely a step up from what we’ve seen before. Tornadoes then snowfall flash freeze? Global warming doesn’t exist right guys ?

That storm was awful. 2020 hasn't been kind to Charlotte, tornado outbreaks, flash floods, and some pretty nasty non-thunderstorm wind events. Can we all and by all of us, I mean board-wide just listen to the quiet whisper of snow falling? We can save these almost certain events until late winter/spring. For now, I think we all need some tranquillity after this year.

North Georgia had the same happen back in February. Was under a tornado warning one morning and then the next morning we had snow flurries and then the morning after we had a 1-2 inch snowfall.

This was one of the closest times I’ve been close to a tornado. Other than April 2011 in apex of course but this was definitely a scary situation

I agree with this, while I like severe weather and find it interesting, I don’t want tornadoes or severe weather around Christmas, please no
