This is the second 00z run in a row that the GFS has shifted dramatically with its depiction of a shortwave within a reasonably short-range time-frame (happened with the Monday wave yesterday). Gotta love the consistency. We'll see what this does soon enough.

I tried to say I’m excited that eventually it will warm up again and I got hit with a bunch of dislikes . The weenie in some people is too intense ! I think @SD should distribute pot to all the weenies .

I Second that. The wind field is insane. I can’t pull the sounding on the Icon but I bet there’s some long curved hodographs.

Middle Tn can do well in these kind of systems.. Chattanooga might see an inch at best, but it's on Christmas, so one inch= 5 on the White Christmas in the South adjusted scale.. (WCITSAS).
