Pattern Octoburn

If we could dig a cutoff into that it would probably snow in some places outside of the mountains. Flow is probably too progressive though but it likely got a cold rain in it and I don't hate that tbh
Yeah if we can hang on to the block in top longer then something interesting could happen, we made the fast progressive look work last early Dec outside the mountains and the event was a rather cold setup, I’d imagine that +PNA slowly backs up into a -EPO sometime in mid/late Nov, but with the +PNA we are slowly getting colder/stepping down already

lets see if we can't get a nice little rainy week out of our monday wedgefest/late week upper low. i mean it really is just southern slider/gulf low with a wedge in place lol, just late october. lots of folks around here will be stuck upper 40s/low 50s for highs.

Raleigh's NWS discussion mentioned that frost can't be ruled out for early next week. If this happens, it would actually be a few days ahead of schedule. The first frost usually occurs around Halloween in the RDU area.

43/82 🤣

I'm still seeing any really cold air here in the next 2 weeks despite everyone talking about it. I mean let's remember our average first freeze is by then... It's supposed to be turning way colder
