DFW still made it to 76*F with the clouds, several degrees above the forecast.

This looks like cold rain to me any moisture with this ?
I’m sure the SE is not done with an 80 degree day but I don’t think the vast majority of the SE should have to deal with any unpleasant weather with dreadful dews with higher temps .. I think we will stay comfortable more than not from once the front hits onward

We probably won't see any for the next couple of weeks, can still happen through the first half of November. Hopefully no more.
Kind of surprised RDU is going to be 84/85 today for the high. Expected a little bit more than that
80s with 60 degree dews maybe but probably not 80s for highs
I meant to say the NE after blockbuster that’s a cold rain for us lol

Looks mainly very troughy with a few small ridges that try to get into the mix as well.. all in all very typical for fall like weather around these parts. More than likely there’s going to be a lot of changes in the medium to long range because wavelengths are getting hectic around this time of year. Also of course we have to look out for the possible home grown tropical activity that has stayed fairly quiet so far this late season but something tells me we will have something to watch eventually.
Not only do the 00z EURO and GEM back off in the troughing with near average temperatures here, but they also show a return to temps well into the 80s (above average) in the long range.

Been out of the loop this week, what's the time frame for cold front coming through today? Last I checked seemed sometime between 3-6?
I didn't say anything about temps in the SE, champ.
And just for a refresher, this is the name of the forum:
It does appear we will at least see a few below average days before the upper 70s / 80s return...

Looks like the averages up there right now are roughly 60/40, and with a forecast high of 63 degrees, that's about typical for Iowa in mid/late October.

Wow a pretty good cold front today across NC. Should be a good evening for football across the area! As long as there isn't too much rain.
Truly can’t wait to feel this front! Those winds are going to be nice and crispy and pretty strong at that! Classic fall front can’t beat it!
Euro has upper 70s, low 80s back next week ! Let’s gooo

I loved these days there in Raleigh. Cold fronts are usually more muted over this way but it just rolled through! Temps slowly falling into the 50s this afternoon.
Low Dewpoint’s make these temps much more bearable than the real deal 80s.. dew points creep up after this only for a day when we stay in the 70s before another cold front knocks us back down again.. fall in NC has arrived
Why is that post getting dislikes lol ? 70s and low 80s with low dews is great weather ?! Don’t see how that’s hot at all, I guess 50s with a cold breeze is great weather and better then that
You forgot to mention low dews.. it was almost as if you were promoting real deal heat ? you could certainly say there’s real deal heat today before the cold front tho
90s is real deal heat, today’s and the last couple of days was really warm, that being advertised on models is very comfortable weather
