Had a dusting of snow this morning in a heavy snow shower. High was only 39. Last time I remember snow before October 20th was, I believe, 1995.

upper 20's when I left out earlier. Mega Frost for the ole back yard. Frost was evident even inside the Gboro city Limits ( metro heat island). That will do it for the Growing season in the Triad region, area wide!

28 here this morning and a severe frost. It's legit cold outside.
30.4 was the low for me. I'm just 9mi NW of GSO.

Bermuda grass is done but fescue will continue to germinate and grow until temperatures stay in 40s for highs and below freezing at night. For the most part everything is done

Bottomed out at 31 this morning… earliest freeze since I moved here from Concord in 2010
It was dang cold waking the beach last night. Some people go to the Gulf and get a hurricane; I go and get a historic cold snap with temps in the 30’s.
