My mom was just a baby and my grandpa had a major heart attack at age 29 bout killed him. Anyway my nana told me she drove home to Marion from Knoxville where my paw was in the hospital and there was a storm on the way home the earliest snow she could remember. This is that storm. I've looked for it for ages thank you for posting this. She said she had to stop on 40 in the gorge and trooper walked up seen my mom in the floorboard ( no car seat) and told her I hope you got milk it's guna be awhile. Lol she was in a VW bug that my paw bought in Germany and had shipped here when he was in the Army.OTD in 1968, this happened. Quite a bit more anomalous than the Nov 2000 storm everyone likes to talk about because it was a week earlier in the season and produced more snow east of the mtns.

Lol what heat....the little side vents that opened where a joke even running 70 down interstate u can barely feel it.Wow, those VW bugs had notoriously bad heaters.

About the only thing keeping us alive right now.. I guess I would rather have the euro ens on the cold side than anyone else but I don’t like being on an island La Niña might be taking overEPS is def the most aggressive with the cold View attachment 94899View attachment 94900
I didn't know that I was starving 'til I tasted you....I think it’s fair to see a below normal pattern the last 10 days of the month before we see the pattern transition to a typical La Niña pattern by December 10th
