~250 miles south of the Gulf Coast and then turning ENE would be best for us. Kind of like the recent low's track.
You need a repeat of December 1989 when a big winter storm ran from New Orleans all the way to Savannah and on up the coast to above Wilmington NC. If I remember right, even Orlando FLA got a few flakes out of it. Jan 2018 would also work for you.
 
We’re still getting them, it’s just they keep happening when it’s too late.
A January 1988 repeat would please 80% or more of the board. Just about everyone north of I-20 had at least some snow with that one. Ground zero was where SC, NC, and GA come together where up to 15 inches of snow fell. That low stayed well south and never turned north at least until it was offshore.
