We still goose egging it here east of apps?
That was a huge snow storm! I got 12 inches in about 6-7 hours with 2 inch per hour rates most of the time. Probably the only time I will ever experience snow down here that was more like living in the lake effect areas.I want January 22-23, 2016 repeat.
Honestly I would just like to see a good old southern slider. Cold air in place with a weak low riding along the Gulf Coast into southern GA exiting between Savannah and Jacksonville. Those always have a more expansive than modeled precip shield to the north and a lot of areas score without having a huge warm nose. It seems like it’s been so long since we had one of those. We need a Jan 24-25 2000 repeat badly. Maybe 4-5 degrees cooler and heavier precip farther NW this time to get the GSP and CLT metros more involved
Drop it 100 miles south and you get a "Like" ... ?Honestly I would just like to see a good old southern slider. We’re still getting them, it’s just they keep happening when it’s too late.Honestly I would just like to see a good old southern slider. Love me some early season late arriving cold.
