80/20 snow right now.
I warned u all I said wintery mix showers due to low level dry air. My legs were so itchy yesterday I knew it I warned u now u call the law if accumulations bother the roads
If what the GFS and Euro are showing for the 13th of November was the 13th of December it would be very interesting.
No it would likely still rain.

All snow now. Beautiful with some of the fall color as the back drop.
I just moved to the South Mountain Range in Western Burke County back in March. There's 40,000 acres of state wildlife/park land bordering my property with a gravel road that runs along the Ridge Tops. It'ss called Ropper Hollow Rd. Look it up but keep it a secret lol I'ma ride up to Icy knob see if she lives up to her name. My neighbor has a weather station at 2800 feet registering 37 with a mix.

Enjoy I know your loving your new house up there. I always hated see it pour snow on little Switzerland with rain in Woodlawn.

Thank you. It’s pouring right now! Temp just dropped 2 degrees in last 30 minutes. Down to 33 now.

Looks like so far 1”+ or so above 5,000 feet in the mtns, with a trace to dusting amounts most elsewhere.

Yep, Nashville gets the shaft, which will probably be the story of this winter.
Were leaving now I'll give a report from the Western part of the South Mtn range.

Eh the drought monitor isn't that great for the local dryness that happens in the convective season. I'm around 4-5 inches for the last 90 days but it has me barely in D0

Had some sleet mixed in over night and early this morning. It's all very cold rain here now. Breeze is picking up also out of the NE.

Took the 3 minute drive over to the Switzerland Inn for some beautiful photo ops.
Already hit the forecast high. Prolly gonna need some help from precip to avoid going higher (46)

I prepared for today to be one of those cold and raw days but it might wind up hitting 60 (although it still won't be too comfortable there given that this is a CAD day). It was very close here when I glanced at the models.
Got some drizzle with no reflectivity and it’s 46F.

I doubt it gets much higher maybe a couple degrees it is only 10 so .. but the rain does look like it’s finally starting to filter in right now over the next couple hours so I think that stalemates things somewhat

I'm getting the heaviest shower so far and my temp actually has jumped 1 degree

I thought there would be some too especially with the evaporation potential from 800-900mb. I think the lack of a good moisture push has hurt us though.
