So, what's the deal? Are you up there permanently now? Where you actually can get an amazing winter?
lol no i'm not up here permanently.... I have been up here about 10 months but this will be my last winter here. Honestly I think I would prefer a southern winter. It snows so much here that it's just not as fun as it is down south. BUT i wouldn't like to live in GA again where it can go years without snowing. Somewhere along the I-40 corridor I think would be a good place to live. Anywhere from Oklahoma to North Carolina. You are guaranteed snow every winter but you get breaks and warmups.

42 degrees and have picked up 1.6” of rain today, quite a bit of it the last few hours with that strange heavy band that took forever to pass through. Still raining at a decent clip. Closing in on 6” since this began in the early morning hours of Monday. It’s remained in the 40s the entire week so far as well. Looking forward to the lower 60s this weekend and sunshine!!

Anybody tossing names around yet for the December thread? For some reason I can't stop thinking about the name "December Tidings"

December to Remember.... Cause let’s face it we’re all hyped about what could be..and will remember it for a great performance or a drastic disaster

After going through some Baton Rouge climate data, it seems yesterday's high temp was the coldest November day since 1976!

Got 5 inches for the week. Most on Monday and last night. Hope it didn't rain out all the winter rain, and we have to beg for rain in Jan and Feb. It always gets cold in winter, but that doesn't mean it will rain when it's cold. More rain ups the chances at timing though. This week for example. It rained and rained, and finally someone in the south caught some pellets...or at least some freezeZ.

Did somebody buy a sled December
