I wouldn’t freak out. Definitely more potential if you modified the H5 look. That was a dud

Second waveIs this the first or second wave?
According to the GFS ensemble, we may be about to see the first +2 sigma (or greater) PNA day in December for the first time since 2014 & only the 2nd time since 2001.
Wow
Now that right there gives me more classic miller B vibes with a classic SE Canada vortex and lagging wave behind itOh heck yea, I absolutely love seeing a wave over the southern Rockies while a vortex pinwheels over New England & Atlantic Canada.

Me gustaThe axis of wave 1 sitting basically overhead w/ wave #2 (which may become our big cut off upper low) entering the Great Basin

NO signal /TC helps us in the SE more than a +PNA. Rest are nice and have their moments of glory. But a tall west coast ridge even if its only delivering normal canadian air usually solves our 1st and most pressing issue, cold air. It's about freaking time.
I posted this yesterday, but...
Get that wave further west, and it can mature and create a really big storm, like the one in 2000.

FYI- before the complaining starts about "too soon" "jinx" whatever else, stop it, the thread is fine. The only suggestion I have is maybe opening up the dates on the title a little bit.
