Natural and World events ( non political stuff )

Might have been aimed at first responders. Guess someone called in a bomb threat and tried to have it go off when the police and fire department got there.

Officials believe that a Christmas morning explosion in downtown Nashville that injured at least three people and damaged dozens of buildings was an intentional act.
In a brief news conference Friday morning, Metro Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron said the department's hazardous devices unit was headed downtown in response to a call about a suspicious vehicle when there was a "significant" explosion linked to that vehicle around 6:30 a.m. CT.

"We do believe that the explosion was an intentional act," Aaron said.

An RV exploding on Christmas reminds me of Cousin Eddie. Perhaps this is someone with a real sick sense of humor??

The timing and the warning for people to evacuate makes it seem like the person or persons responsible weren't looking to kill a lot of people. So who or what was the target?

It heard that it occurred next to an AT&T server farm, but I don't know if that was accurate or e even why that would be important.

Maybe someone that has a beef with them. Maybe a disgruntled former employee.

Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said police were responding to a report of shots fired when they encountered a recreational vehicle blaring a recording that said a potential bomb was to detonate in 15 minutes. Police evacuated nearby buildings and called in the bomb squad.

The perpetrator parked it next to the ATT building on Christmas Day and had a message blaring for people to leave . So he had no intention of killing any bystanders , so what was the motivation? A statement ? A suicide? It’s likely the body found is connected somehow as any bystanders should have been gone at the time of the explosion .
