Wintry More SE Snow ? (1/16-1/18)

Does this include Toney or is it close
It's not on a map, they broke their coverage area into two different WWA's. For LImestone County west and north into tenn:
WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Total snow
accumulations of up to two inches are expected.

For Madison east:
WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
including during the evening commute on Tuesday. Total snow
accumulations of up to one inch are expected.

Hey RollTide18... its good to see another Central Alabama guy on the board. PS...this time last week we were on the edge of the seats for the Alabama game... now its snow. Lol

Welcome aboard, hope for some surprises tomorrow! Until then watch the hi-res models and current radar.

View attachment 3071 From Huntsville said in their discussion also. Thinking about upgrading to a warning in a few counties.

Yep, nice to see NWS Huntsville taking notice of what's going on upstream over KY/MO, certainly looks more & more like parts of Alabama will also be implicated shortly....

Yes, I saw it, I posted it here just a short while ago and Stu Ostro of the Weather Channel (presumably a reliable source of information) posted it in a gif image w/ the radar accompanied by surface observations and it was still snowing hard at the time of the 1 foot observation

Thank you. The Paducah National Weather Service at 9 PM recorded right at a quarter of an inch precip, and their snow total was 6.1 inches. That's a 24:1 ratio.
