Yes, that is a 1064 mb high over N Canada on the 12Z Euro fwiw as of 8 PM on April 1st: No April Fools joke. Fortunately it doesn't subsequently come down anywhere near here as it mainly just sits up there and slowly weakens. Of course, it may not even be real.

Not what many of us would want, but the 12Z EPS fwiw has much of the country BN in early April. Even the SE is much colder than the MA that has dominated there and is near normal here. Hopefully, much of this is from
the cold bias and it won't be that cold:

1. Well folks, like it or not, the 0Z Goofus looks very similar to the 18Z version at hour 90, which means the 0Z will very likely be the 2nd much colder run once it gets out a good bit further. Brace yourselves, folks! And most importantly, remember that I’m merely messengering. So, please put away the guns as well as bows and arrows.

2. This same run has been stuck in hour 90 for 30 minutes or so at all sights.

Looking forward to the cool down personally. Although today's 80 was pretty sporty, except for the damn bumble bees.

April snows in Chattanooga:
Trace-- 15 times
.1-- 2 times
.2 or better-- 6 times.
Max: 4.1 in 1910 (also very late in the month too, on the 25th.)

This is infuriating ... forecast 80... 72 and cloudy rn. Freaking sick of this crap . It’s the the same garbage on repeat . Sunny to the north west east south ... every direction of here as usual. Hell its drizzling a little now too. Don’t worry though the clouds will break around 6 pm as they do every day... too little too late . Then it will cloud up again by morning and repeat .

Am I missing something ? Is there some permanently entrenched deeepppp later of cold air over us ? Super cad?

Morning mid-level and low clouds did a number on mixing heights today, so upper 80s probably aren't going to happen.

It got up to 83*F, then fell back down to 82*F in the latest observation.
