I spoke to soon, somehow the atmosphere is recovering and EL temps became more impressive for thunderstorms from 02z to 03z and MLcape went up, well shoot

Yep after everyone guaranteed it would fall. I could see last Tuesday that it was safe and indeed it is.

Summer is finally here.
Made it to 88*F today, with mid/upper 80s expected through Tuesday and then low 90s beyond that.
That being said, at least the humidity isn't as bad as it could be.

Outflow boundary collision just to my southeast. Some will benefit from increasing convection over the next minutes, not here though.

Its pouring out here in Zebulon clouds are absolutely gorgeous. Clouds look yellow with the sun! Its raining in spurts with stringy clouds.

5th coldest may on record for Greensboro. Greensboro was much more below average than us thanks to a few really crappy days where we lucked out and were much warmer .
FFC (Peachtree City) ended May with only a -0.2*F departure, while Atlanta ended the month with a -1.2*F departure.
For once, we had an exceptionally normal Deep South Spring.

Average high for May ended up being 83. I would say the average low but sadly the average is probably messed up since wunderground tends to mess up and put 0 as the minimum for some reason at times.
