Staying across the street from the WB memorial in Kill Devil Hills this weekend. Just had an awesome storm roll through that cleared off the beach in a hurry.

Supposedly had a shot at rain and storms yesterday and didn't get anything. Supposed to have some today, too. It's getting dark out, but so fsr nothing.

Not sure its gonna be as noticeable but this cell had some decent structure and you can see at the start the sheets of rain blowing in around the south side of the storm.
No hail here just to my south prob should have chased. Up to 1.09
Got shafted round 1 but this looks like it could drop my good portion of rain for the day plus past days of luck ... good to see everyone is at least seeing some decent relief before the good stuff next week
Hmmm maybe a little training game ?? I’m sure I won’t get that lucky to get training light to moderate rain after the storm .. let’s see tho

Decent little core on this guy and starting to hear some deep thunder .. just don’t know if she’ll get right over me or not .. time will tell 
Also interesting how models are picking up on some more tropical like features heading out way in the medium to long range ... just noise rn but if that starts coming to fruition drought would have a pitiful try at coming back into the picture for a bit

No storms or rain here yesterday, and no storms and hardly any rain here today. The local forecast was way off here.
Looks like we might get the sun out late tomorrow and get a pretty nice end to the day

Any storm that develops with the humidity we going to have. Could be severe I actually expect few active days late next week.

GFS has been consistent the last few days with showing a tropical system developing as it moves through the Straits of Florida into the Gulf.
Also, NWS San Juan, PR mentioned a few tropical waves passing to the south of the Island from Thursday to Sunday.

49 here this AM. Got .5 in a heavy shower Friday and another .75 late yesterday into the evening. Was super dry here too before that, so well needed.
