That doesn’t reflect the 2-4 inches that fell in between Wilson and goldbsoro ! Those bastards the other day really racked up !

Yeah we know it loves to mixWe probably mix out but hrrr is already struggling with cape again, starting to see this as a bias View attachment 84412View attachment 84413
Bet it’s overmixing tomorrow as well even, I thought they would fix this bias but here we are and the V4 still has this issueYeah we know it loves to mix
It's interesting that it's been the hottest with 2m temps and closer to reality but it's been mixing to death. Not sure if their is a tie in thereBet it’s overmixing tomorrow as well even, I thought they would fix this bias but here we are and the V4 still has this issue
Its definitely the poplars. Go 4 days with out rain and they start shedding.poplar trees are horrible , every July it seems the highway is lined by yellow poplars shedding leaves . Or am I thinking of sycamores ? One of the 2!
Ohhhh some wedge boundary severe .. let’s goooo .. a little wave goodbye before the cool wedge sits it’s little butt over us .. gotta love highs in the 50s and 60s in the summer time ??
I may or may not have been one of those.... LolSolid. Remember when people were cheering on dry cold fronts and NW flows
You have to think this will be the last of the wedges going into summer. I know we've had summer CAD events before but they're rare.
Who said I don’t like it? I love below normal temps and severe weather and no drought ... that’s what this next at least week seems to be bringing ??
Hope you are correct but many of us are now in a moderate drought and 1.5 from some storms one weekend don't erase that. It's a start but hoping the next week yields more widespread rains, you'll be surprised how quickly the parched earth in the summer will suck down an inch or 2 of rain.Storms looking legit on latest long range HRRR and latest NAM for Friday and Saturday ... will definitely give some relief to many who haven’t been lucky with the isolated stuff the last few days ... also NAM looks interesting for the wedge front severe on Saturday ... I don’t think we will be complaining about dryness by Sunday
Yeah, I think we probably will continue to see some going forward given how common they’ve been the last few months. I would be surprised however if we get anymore that gives us afternoon temps 25-30 degrees below our average high... of course I said that after the CAD a couple weeks ago and here we go again this Sunday...We had some last year. Probably more common now with the amped flow.

Very true evaporation kicks in big but yeah like you said it’ll help and with the more widespread rains next week I think that’ll help in a more significant way .. were usually dry around this time of year anyway .. I don’t see any significant drought occurring tho at least which is goodHope you are correct but many of us are now in a moderate drought and 1.5 from some storms one weekend don't erase that. Or just run off it...Hope you are correct but many of us are now in a moderate drought and 1.5 from some storms one weekend don't erase that. You mean additional or have you not looked outside lately?Very true evaporation kicks in big but yeah like you said it’ll help and with the more widespread rains next week I think that’ll help in a more significant way .. were usually dry around this time of year anyway .. Absolutely! I've seen 2" thunderstorms packed the ground, most runoff and within a week looked like no rain fell whatsoever. At least most of the rain this weekend does not look like thatOr just run off it...
Everything was so green this morning after the rain yesterday by 10am gone....withered....crustyYou mean additional or have you not looked outside lately?
Maybe your stations broken ?15 straight days without measurable rainfall imby
It is abnormally dry with moderate drought starting to show up ... this is all after the driest spring we have had in a while .. now we’re starting to see more rain come into play along with next weeks more widespread stuff .. I believe this should get tampered down a bit at the least .. I’m talking about extreme drought or severe drought ... don’t see that becoming widespread at all or even showing upYou mean additional or have you not looked outside lately?
We’ve been having one final cold snap for the past three months now ?? funny to watch but this SHOULD be the last one ... right?Looks like one final cool snap coming for this weekend.... Cotton Britches Winter
