Just watched a bit of a replay of Copic's stream. Amazing how calm he stayed while they were definitely in some RFD at least. That damage there is crazy.

That storm that produced a beast of a tornado just got re tornado warned just south of me in Burke County by probably about 15 miles. Satellite just went out.

Friends in Fitzgerald just called said it was bad! Glad they are ok! We got cut off and I tried calling back but can’t get through.

No I'm south. I was watching closely and looking at soundings earlier on the supercells to see about what was possible, and it looks like I was right in between where the worst storms will be for the area, got split, leaning closer to the Waynesboro one but still away from that by about 15 miles. I should be able to bring reports on the damage though.

CHS just TOR warned it. The cell NE of Charleston also has a couplet now. That storm passed over here with torrential rains and frequent lightning, elevated...
