I honestly don't blame the models, I would suspect they're maybe factoring in normal climatology for October, although even if you throw that out this is unprecedented for when it's still summer. But this shouldn't be too surprising because of summer like weather sticking around for so long. There was nothing stopping Michael from getting this strong.
I just can't believe the regular folks that chanced Mother Nature in PCB and stayed based off of what usually happens.
