Just got some pretty good gusts here in Paulding county, lights are flickering some.

I might actually make it through this storm with my power...it's come close to going but hasn't and the rain is really breaking up fast on the southeastern end...if the last strong areas swing through without the power snapping I think I will.

Listening to police radio, this area getting hammered. Trees going down left and right, fires, holes in roofs. I've only had it on 5 minutes! Anyways, thankfully we avoided a CHS landfall and repeat of Hugo! Florida is built up a lot more for this kinda stuff than we are inland, thankfully.

Wow, our power provider just went from 59 outages to 834 outages in like 5 minutes

There are reports of trees down around the county per the Forsyth County Sherrif's office from what I am hearing,

You're not alone, nothing but the occasional heavy shower with a bit of a breeze here in CLT. I expect the "worst" to come later but I don't expect it to be very bad either. Not complaining, I don't care much for falling trees and power outages.
