They dropped some ABXT's and were measuring 80 degree water down to 400 feet when Irma passed and at the speed Irma was moving I doubt it.

I think irma is going to have a hard time making landfall in Cuba with the angle in which it is coming because of land frictionin despite some of the latest data suggesting landfall. Also, the latest NW wobble decreases the chances of landfall.
