I was in east alabama for Opal it was pretty awful never seen so many trees and powerlines down

To this day remains the strongest hurricane I've seen only ivan comes close

That eye would go right over my house in West Georgia if the Euro track played out geez the rain and wind gusts

The Euro is an absolute nightmare for the I-75 corridor, heck, all the way to Atlanta. I don't think the millions living in the Atlanta metro are thinking about 60+ mph gusts in this part of the state.

I-75 or I-95? Not a lot of distance between the two in Florida, but a world of difference in impacts.

Yeah that track all the rain anf gusts soft pines central GA thru Atl would be looking at significant lcoal flooding and lot of power outages not gonna make for fun few day

Me too (in north central AL). Opal's winds howled for hours overnight. Surprisingly, the Huntsville metro area did not have significant damage or power outages.

Eps mean will be right down central Florida

Interesting run by the Euro! Saves my backyard and sadly destroys another person's backyard.

Everyman for himself, just like snowstorms in the south! But in this case, you really lose if you jackpot with the eye!:(

Disney would get leveled. Not that they don't have the $ to fix whatever gets destroyed.
