Just not an enjoyable one here in CAE. Entire storm was summed up by 1 45 min burst of snow. Some back end snow working in now that might give us another inch, but I’ll unfortunately remember this one more so for the exciting days leading up to it rather than the day of the storm itself. Congrats to everyone that scored & for the Raleigh area filling things in & saving things at the last second.

I’m at 2 inches. Enjoy the night fam.

It's amazing how N Harnett has missed on the heavy stuff. Just a light dusting so as of 9pm at 19 degrees.

First check on the krispy kreme box. Just under 3", all since supper time tonight. Looks like we'll have light to moderate stuff for another 5-6 hours. We'll hit the NWS best estimate of 4" for the storm and maybe more.

Does anyone know how much Fayetteville, NC, has received? They were dry most of the day despite many model runs burying them and I haven’t seen any recent mention of that city.

I am maybe 10 miles or so north of Fayetteville and it is snowing fairly good now but it is less than 1/2 inch right now. We went from the jackpot on many model runs to, well probably the lowest.

Your location and south Wake were the last to get out of the dry slot. Radar looks to be generating heavier returns now. I see no reason why you couldn't get a couple of inches with the time we have left.

Okay, we making a serious run at a foot. I’ve got several 12” measurements in the yard, but I’ve got an 11” avg. walking around whole property. Have almost 20” drift beside playground.

snow seems to be filling back in a bit, not sure how much longer we’ve got. Going on 14+ hours of at least light snow.

Official CLT measurement is CLT Airport I believe. I would think they're at 7-9 inches. North Charlotte and probably extreme Northeast Charlotte / Mecklenburg County probably got the most snow at over 10 inches I would guess.

Seems like the modeling has these bands falling apart sometime over the next few hours as the lifting moves to our east. Hoping they are being a little too quick with that.

I’ve heard that but I got 7 inches in January 2003 at 40:1 ratio and I had a fully covered yard for 3 days

Almost 6 inches in Grovetown. We had a little over 4 inches around 5 pm then that last band came through around 7:30 and we were at 5.5 inches by 8:50 and it’s still been dumping the last 30 minutes since I checked the depth.
