That’s odd because temps are about 5 degrees colder here than last run'Euro continues to be too warm, some 4-8 degrees on the noon temp
The warm nose around 750 mb looks problematic, but maybe manageable, but I don’t think it’s cold enough in the dendritic growth zone to matter.to more knowledgeable posters....is this sounding close to snow??
Thanks everoneNo moisture in the DGZ; sleet sounding
You might be able to get some snow grainy type prisms out of that mixed with sleet. It would be hard for me to see big fat dendrites in that sounding. Thanks everone
I guess this is what it felt like to miss out on the March 93 Storm of the Century - once in a lifetime event that we're on the outside looking in.Disappointing for sure, but let's be happy for those to the west who are getting a once in a lifetime storm.
Euro is 15 degrees colder here vs the 00z run by 00z Tuesday

man i hope so. i dont want ice and i know you dont eitherThat's a of purple over my house from the Euro. Meanwhile our friend over in Alcorn looks to be getting snow.
We still get a good bit of ice, around 1/3 of an inch, but now getting half an inch of sleet, and then a little snow on top at the endOne degree is going to make all the difference in that scenario on latest Euro for Madison, AL

Going by Weatger Bug Atlanta is 10 degrees colder then forecast high too.Ok, it’s closing in on 1 PM here in Huntsville. we’ve busted our temperature by 10 degrees. (It’s 35, not 45) Is this a good trend or is this just fool’s gold?
I would rather be in Oklahoma.Would love to be in Dallas right now
If it were Sunday, It would be something to be optimistic about, but for Monday/Tuesday storm I believe it is fool's gold.Ok, it’s closing in on 1 PM here in Huntsville. we’ve busted our temperature by 10 degrees. (It’s 35, not 45) Is this a good trend or is this just fool’s gold?
Ya'll aren't the only one, I am seeing where hardly anyone is making it to their supposed high temp that's locked in to the Arctic airmass.Ok, it’s closing in on 1 PM here in Huntsville. we’ve busted our temperature by 10 degrees. (It’s 35, not 45) Is this a good trend or is this just fool’s gold?
Could it mean bigger flakes ?This is a sounding from SW TN at the height of the snow. Look at the precipitable water in the DGZ! That's much higher than i've ever seen modeled in this region.

I'm not sure, I just interpret it as more snow accumulations.Could it mean bigger flakes ?
So most of the 12z runs (not sure about the EURO) showed a nice uptick in snowfall amounts for DFW.
UKMET looks the worst, and even if shows 3-4".
I'm rooting for you. I hope you get at least 6.So most of the 12z runs (not sure about the EURO) showed a nice uptick in snowfall amounts for DFW.
