Right.... I think that CAD is going to be colder than expected for ATL on Thursday I feel a cold 36 to 38 cold rain!

My location did not get above 26 today (27 at the local airport NWS site). That means today has been the coldest day in my lifetime for the Baton Rouge area. I have experienced colder, but in other places. Let's see if I can get anything out of the next storm.

This is not that uncommon. You have now seen what affect a range of 5000+foot mountains to your northwest can have on the climate at CAE.

I don't think I've seen a day this cold without much wind in a while. Our afternoon high was 27.7 and the top gust on the tempest was 7.5mph. It is sheltered a bit but still. I also don't see how I don't hit teens tonight with clear skies.

If the winds shift back from the south to southeast temps could fall slow or hold steady. You sitting in a lower protected area will probably drop some. My are will probably hold steady like the models are showing.

Lol, at work... But since your asking. Had .3 inch of freezing rain on trees and a good inch of snow on the ground right now. So I would say that is a win. Never got about 33 degrees yesterday.

Hi guys. I ended up with 7.5 inches yesterday in jonesboro. Not bad considering it was only 10 degrees and snowing ??. I expect 2-4 inches the next few days. Nws believes 4-7 but we will see. The sref says 8-10, but I definitely feel that's overdone.
