Very concerned about black ice and ice overnight here in Chattanooga. Just got home and roads are puddled and still coming down hard

This is from a half hour ago. Measured 3 inches of pure sleet which is impressive to say the least. Happy with what I’ve got but also annoyed with temp at 22-24 degrees and no snow. Would have easily had a foot if this warm layer wasn’t above us.

Yep dry slot right on time when we are supposed to flip to all snow. Congratulations to Brent and others in the Deep South who don’t see snow often. Hopefully storm number 2 can bring more snow to the midstate and especially those south of us.
