Pattern June Bugs

Continuous thunder down toward Shane’s. Wish it was night.

Looks like a developing MCS. You can see on the Nexrad radar an outflow boundary moving southwest from the MCS. That will probably trigger more storms further southwest.
The complex to the NW of that system just developed another outflow boundary. Cool to see 2 outflow boundaries on the radar.

2.03" and still raining. Evenings like this is what makes summer bearable.

I saw limbs down otw home from work caught some small hail when I pulled in the neighborhood. Looks like it was really intense about 1-3 miles south

Good luck with the forecast over the next 10 days multiple fronts, possibly a brief closed ridge, maybe an upper low getting trapped off of the SE coast which would have a chance to become tropical if it doesn't get picked up.

Future radar shows storms blowing up in the 9-2AM timeframe, right along the N.C./SC border right over me also! Fingers crossed!

I don't think the weather will ever be predictable anymore. :(

Glad you got rain today. You were starting to sound like someone I know from the upstate

Heard a couple sprinkles on the roof and it’s flickering lighting outside. 0% chance I get blanked tonight..it’s been tough sledding IMBY for the past 2 weeks. Wish me luck

a small breather on the incredible duration of AN lows... this is becoming a nightmare really. Normal lows don't matter anymore. We done turned a corner:

The ground isn’t even wet in my yard! It’s like waking up to brown ground , when it was supposed to snow overnight!

I've received 2 decent rainfall periods today from 2 thunderstorms giving probably ~1/2" so far with rain continuing.

Do not have a rain gauge now, but we got at least 2, if not 3, inches of rain here last night.

Nice heatwave on the euro

Gfs has been spanking the euro lately. It had the last front stalling over northern NC a couple days out and the gfs pushed straight through to the SC border which was spot on.

Another 80% chance of storms today, let’s see what happens

This area has had good coverage of rain for the last couple of hours. Downtown had heavier with near 1” in some cases per radar estimates. The drought of the 1st 3+ months of 2018 is now a faint memory. What a turnaround!

Drought begets drought!

Another heavy storm today, and I'm not complaining. 69/82F and currently 74F. It was warmer in other areas today that had more sun for sure.

Another 80% storm chance , another dry day! No rain in sight. By next Thursday, I’ll be at 24 days without a drop of rain, and let’s throw in 10 days of mid 90s, gonna be fun!

Don’t worry, you’ll get plenty of rain this winter!

Gfs still showing it being wet and humid through the rest of the month... dry heat in Tx and SW... Euro on tropical tidbits is limited in what it shows..on second look it does look dryer and hotter east of the Apps in the Carolinas. mid upper 90s... enjoy!

There can’t be a heatwave with all this soil moisture! Can’t happen!

We're not going to be able to avoid triple digits this summer are we?! :(

I'll take a few 100 degree days if we can get some lower humidity and lows not so oppressive as the past few summers.. last summer's hottest temp in CHA I believe was 99, but we had long bouts of AN lows... mid to even upper 70s at times. When did Tennessee suddenly become Florida?
