Got down to 46 last night.
Only 54.3 here.
49 this morning.

Yeah all time record low in July and August are like 47-49 doubt we could do that on back to back months. I'd be impressed if we just got into the 50s both months making a full year with lows below 60.
This construct is going to be a menace to our forecast for the next couple of weeks.

The 18z GFS would be absolutely nuts. Definitely a happy hour run. Would be looking at low to mid-70s in June on the backside of the TC.

46 yesterday morning and already down to 49 this morning and dropping. If spring and early summer was like this every year I would have no complaints at all.

18z GFS yesterday took away the heat completely, with no 90s for anyone really east of the Mississippi River. The 6z GFS brings back the heat after the 16th but then takes it away again after the 20th. Boy Texas and the plains really getting rocked with the oven for most of that time.

Very nice downpours this morning. Easily the heaviest since I’ve been back in Georgia. Already at 1 inch for the day and likely more to come.

Yes and some impressive thunder with the first wave earlier... Gotten just shy og 1.5 inches here so far...
I just want some rain. We haven’t had a drop in over 2 weeks. I’ll pass on the hail and high winds though. Just a good old fashioned downpour would be great

It’s amazing how much rain you can get in 15 minutes. Ended up with just under an inch and a half of rain in 30-45 minutes.

Just .25 here today, all I've had since middle May.
I think RDU (again) stayed right below 90 with the temp briefly getting to 89.1 ~2pm. If so, the streak of no 90s continues.
89 yesterday and 87 today, still avoiding the 90s but just barely
