July Surprise!

Just heard that we picked up a quick 0.7" earlier today. Nice. Maybe if those storms that are drifting SW don't rain themselves out, we'll see more.

Do not think coverage will be too good south of I-85 in NC or SC today. Storms drifting north it looks like and storms in GA will mostly stay there. A few storms from Chesterfield county SC to near Augusta GA seem to be weakening and I do not see any outflow boundaries coming from then..The small showers and storms near Charlotte now may be it for today.

Didn't you just score big two days in a row and even said you had nothing to complain about for awhile? And now you're already complaining about yesterday?
@SD will be banning him soon, the no rain mob is getting angry! We want him out NOW! redistribute his gains to all the dry parts of the state !

Don't really call complaining, I simply just stated facts. I got shafted, but I am not whining about it. Let's try and keep this thread pleasant, please. There is so much unpleasantness on other threads and just the world in general. :)

Pouring and Booming.

Growing up in Woodstock as a kid and weather geek, I always remembered getting shafted in Cherokee. Smyrna however always seemed to get nailed, every day. I think the terrain in part due to the Chattahoochee helps that area, a lot.

Must be. I just moved here this year and we always seem to get the rain. Definitely not a shortage.
