Looks like 2 dry days in a row here. Also tied for the hottest day of the year at 94.
Yeah the corn is looking ugly. Maybe we will get lucky the next few days.
It's crazy how some areas are getting big rains over and over. Id love to see actual totals from the last 30 days. I might get bored this week and see what I can put together.Second round hits exact same area as first, constant thunder, outflows, smell the rain....still a big nothing at the house...
that area has had 4-7" of rain in the last 3 or 4 days easy.....

I take back today being dry. Pouring.I might have to take back that part about 2 dry days in a row. Got some late bloomers forming.View attachment 44640
I'm tired of these storms dying out around me, clouding up the sky enough so I can't get a picture of the comet.

I Love the storms but been having the same problem everyday, I’ve basically gave up on it

It’s been unusual, all the rain has been in the western portion of the state not the eastern which sees generally the most summer rain outside of elevated swestern NC . A load of crap is what it is. Charlotte doesn’t need the rain they only grow traffic jams, COVID, and bad football teams . No crops . Crops in eastern wake county are doing ok though we have been getting storms , can’t imagine how they are doing down 264 though past Wilson .Gladly trade in roasted kernels for dendrites, but I am not a farmer and only pushing up daisies at this point.

maybe move all crops to @ryan1234 yard?
Pushed my monthly total to .8! You and @BufordWX get that daily
Yep Thursday looks good. Tomorrow and Wednesday should have at least a couple storms aroundThat impulse at H5 on Thursday should do the trick with quicker movement
SO THIS!!!! I don't even get the rains from the storms either!!!I'm tired of these storms dying out around me, clouding up the sky enough so I can't get a picture of the comet.
This was around 11 last night that part of the county has had to have had 8-10" of rain in the last week or so while I have managed not a drop.....we are talking 3-5 miles as the crow flies....this same area saw 3-4 different storm complexes fire up yesterday....hopefully today is my turn though I am beginning to wonder.....typically this side of the county does well as we get the sea breeze which is what set it off yesterday but the rich get richer....and the dry get dryer....

Those late days 13-16 frames on a lot of models would really be problematic. Particularly for the recurve risk region of SC/NCDo not like the H5 pattern that the day 10 euro/EPS/GFS/GEFS show with hurricane season waking up
Yeah same here in central Wake co
