Good deal, that's why I posted the link it is difficult to navigate if you just go to the COD page..... thanksDuPage is a link in Models in Wiki!
I did add the link for this as a standalone in the Water Vapor/Wind Imagery section of Models in Wiki since it is not easy to locate by navigating the DuPage model page.
Of course!Good deal, that's why I posted the link it is difficult to navigate if you just go to the COD page..... thanks

Didn't mean to imply "bad" - just whimsical musing on a rainy day! Good satellite shot, btw!Oh it's not too bad... streaks of clouds, sun, clouds, sun, clouds Lol![]()
Oh you lawyers take things to literalDidn't mean to imply "bad" - just whimsical musing on a rainy day! Good satellite shot, btw!
I added your DuPage link in Models and added some text to the Water Vapor/Wind Maps section over lunch, fwiw!

Words have very specific meanings and are a vehicle to avoid confusion and misunderstanding when used properly (the majority of politicians and journalists notwithstanding), but if you look at most of my posts, they're not literal at all ... they are designed to be more suggestive of "think" and "evaluate" ...Oh you lawyers take things to literaland again thanks the work you guys have done on the Wiki page is phenomenal
ForsythSnow deserves the credit; I just muddle and muck around there ... We are indeed fortunate to have ForsythSnow doing all he does on Wiki and Board-wide beyond -- and most folks are likely not aware of all of it by any stretch ...Oh you lawyers take things to literaland again thanks the work you guys have done on the Wiki page is phenomenal
Doesn't seem to be ...Anything showing up on radar in Wake Forest? There are some wicked looking clouds this way.

I'll take it. Every day we don't hit 95+ is a victory imoThis is not summer-like. This is spring-like.
drop by 6º and we're in hog heaven!I'll take it. Every day we don't hit 95+ is a victory imo

No kidding last July and August made me strongly dislike summer. I understand that we may occasionally hit 95-99 but week on week of it wore me down. Looking at the ensembles in the long range we warm up next week but that's potentially followed by what I would consider a normal summer pattern with a SW ridge and west Atlantic ridge lurking off shore. That look favors a weakness across the SE with daily storm chances with intermittent cold frontsdrop by 6º and we're in hog heaven!
Very good read of what look's to be going on, SD!No kidding last July and August made me strongly dislike summer. I understand that we may occasionally hit 95-99 but week on week of it wore me down. That heat ridge next week is pretty stout though but it looks like the biggest anomalies will be north of our region. That being said i could see RDU hitting 95+ at least once between Monday and WednesdayVery good read of what look's to be going on, SD!

Haven't hit 90 here as well, and it could be possible. Certainly off to a better start than last year's endless heat combined with months of little rain. The warmest it's forecast to be here in the next 14 days is 86. I'm beginning to think we may have a shot to go all June without hitting 90 !
Chance of rain tomorrow too. We just cant get a dry day, even on days when theres a 0% chance of rain. I swear we go from one extreme to the other. Its either bone dry like last fall or it rains every day. Somewhere in between would be nice.Should be the last day. It was unexpected here as well, and it looks like what you are having is moving in my direction now.
I don't think the humidity was bad here last summer. After all, how humid can it be when the ground is dry as the desert ?The humidity was relentless last summer too.

I can live with that like you said it's the weeks of continued furnace that really is oppressive, when it only drops below 80 for an hour or two or not at all.... it can take a toll. And 54 this morning with a stiff NE breeze, man we are living rightThat heat ridge next week is pretty stout though but it looks like the biggest anomalies will be north of our region.
