could see a tropical system hit the gulf west of New Orleans and travel around the ridge and bring flooding to the NC foothills westward into Ohio, with little elsewhere across the south/east - birdman June 2019
If this happens I will delete my account and create a new onecould see a tropical system hit the gulf west of New Orleans and travel around the ridge and bring flooding to the NC foothills westward into Ohio, with little elsewhere across the south/east - birdman June 2019
Um that is not very possible. I don't know of a ridge being that small and not breaking apart from a tropical system. Gulf moisture doesn't count.could see a tropical system hit the gulf west of New Orleans and travel around the ridge and bring flooding to the NC foothills westward into Ohio, with little elsewhere across the south/east - birdman June 2019

I think I might have an explanation: Were y'all under, perhaps, a watch of some type? ?not a drop of rain here and Greenville is only like 30 minutes away
nothing in the metro so far
So you don't shower at the house?Had a quick shower at the office around 1:30. Feels like a sauna outside now.

Looks robust. Going to speculate that if we get that first strong band to come through, that second one won't end up being as strong as shown.Sign me up![]()

This is a nice looking MCS entering MS right now. Charging eastward. I wonder how long it will hold together. Most models seem to want to kill it as it enters AL. Wonder if it will hold on longer?View attachment 20493
Have a bit of concern with new convection starting to form about 50-60 miles east of main convection...(Near Gadsden AL this morning..New day 1 has a enhanced risk for severe storms across the Carolinas. Also a 5% chance of tornados across central NC.View attachment 20495View attachment 20496
