That wave could dig to South Africa and the low would still track up through the Pamlico sound.

But you have to love Joe Bastardi's trough east of Hawaii that correlates to an east coast trough.

Even the models hardly ever show a nice, baggy, gulf low carrying copious amount of moisture into a cold dome above us. That has apparently become a dinosaur.
