Just checking in on vacation near top of Beech Mtn. Very nice event up here but I believe I may have allowed my expectations to be too high. I’m sure we’ll end up with a solid 4-6” which is a win by any standards. I was prbly expecting steadier/heavier precip due to lift etc. Hope all you NC/SC folks east and south kill it this evening!!!!!

Up to 39/36 at RDU as of noon. Getting worried about temps with regards to this evening’s precip, I don’t think we were supposed to get this warm. At this rate, we are going to waste most of whatever liquid we get cooling the column.
