We did end up getting decent rates and about 1.5 on the ground before it turned to sleet and rain now. Weird little system. Warm nose over performed again. But at least 2020 will not be a shutout.

Here is a photo from my grandma In Blacksburg Virginia .. this was taken about an hour ago so they have another quick band moving through now that I’m sure will give them another inch or so .. a nice event there

Congrats South Carolina. Looks like a line of thunderstorms has formed south of Charlotte. so may be a better chance of hail or ice there given the soundings.

Very low freezing levels. Jonesville SC got hit. Maybe Rock Hill SC next.
