Wintry January 21-23 2025

Not over here in Columbia, but I don’t think I can say once we ever saw even what I would call moderate snow. We’ve basically picked up light snow since early this afternoon. I think I have around 0.3-0.4 as of now. I’ve held off saying anything for awhile to see if something would change. But I haven’t seen decent rates one time with this system. But I tell ya, it’s been nice seeing snow again!

Yeah man dry air eating it again. Some areas that got heavier banding did okay. 1-3 inch forecast was good for this one north of i20

Surprised Forsyth County NC is even included in that winter weather advisory. It's over and all we saw was a few flakes. The county doesn't even have a school delay up yet.

29.1 and freezing rain at my inlaws house next to the marsh/beach on Tybee Island, GA. And temp steadily dropping. they say trees are already sagging hard.

Excited to see the post Mortem on this storm.. gulf coast was definitely nailed!! But curious as to which model did the best with the northwestern edge snow.. FFC nailed it! Either we bow! Or decide it was blind squirrel nut theory.. could they have info we are not privy to? Especially trying to prevent a disastrous repeat of snowmageddon!?

I know models mean nothing but the good 'ol RAP just went ballistic lol

The RAP was way overdone here(showed 1.5-2), but the Hrrr had nothing falling within 50 miles of me as well (I got 1/4 inch of snow). So really they're both complete trash when you think about it.
Of course, The euro nailed it from 2 days out with its depiction of .02-.05 of liquid for my area.
