Canadian has temps sitting around 27-29 degrees. Most of what would fall would accrual so that would be a very massive ice storm

EPS doubling down on the -NAO and shunting the southern ridge a bit more south. Though the EPO looks really negative ! There is a giant ridge into Alaska though.

I haven’t mentioned this much, nor have I seen many other folks, but the Euro does resemble March 1960 with ridging over Alaska, -NAO, a trough over the NW, and a ridge in the SW.

We really built up an extensive and deep snow pack during the initial phases of this pattern over the northern us which helped lock in this pattern. It wasn’t until that happened that the storms came in droves for NC. The first legit storm showed up in mid Feb 1960 & ironically was a cad event.

Even vs 1927 & 1980, I believe Mar 1960 is the snowiest March on record since 1895 & from some of my initial intuition of what the seasonal map would look like based on the data I have thus far, 1959-60 is the 2nd snowiest winter on record since 1895 in NC, 2nd only to 1935-36.

I might cash out till 2025 man. ATL would be shut down for days. Hartsfield Jackson would close. Air travel in the eastern seaboard reduced by 40%. Can you imagine???
