Western ridge nudging east with each successive run while th WAR has been rock steady. Bleh
Been saying that for a couple days now. It's something to watch and it's not in fantasy land.

Man that block in Greenland means business though. Look at that low near Maine back up.
I’m sorry but outside of the mountains no one is getting snow with that low track on the CMC

V16 has a different storm around hour 250 too. Lots of random stuff showing up beyond hr 180 on all models

There’s been a semi consistent overrunning signal on the gefs and eps for several days now, and we’ve had a few operational runs show a storm like that on an off lately, one of the latest being yesterday’s 12z GFS. Beating a dead horse here but haha pattern definitely looks more than cold enough as things currently stand in that period.
I really like this GFS run in a lot more ways than showing any digital snow. Trending towards a wider trough orientation that is better for overrunning for any system coming in, and more confluence. This argues the SE shift for storms in the future is likely to continue. Curious if the Euro looks similar.
