There’s been a semi consistent overrunning signal on the gefs and eps for several days now, and we’ve had a few operational runs show a storm like that on an off lately, one of the latest being yesterday’s 12z GFS. Beating a dead horse here but haha pattern definitely looks more than cold enough as things currently stand in that period.We’re cranking out storms in fantasy land and not in fantasy land, can’t ask for much more View attachment 64757
I really like this GFS run in a lot more ways than showing any digital snow. Trending towards a wider trough orientation that is better for overrunning for any system coming in, and more confluence. This argues the SE shift for storms in the future is likely to continue. Curious if the Euro looks similar.
