That is strange to me as well, I do not think it would do a transfer like that.

It looks to be a very complex situation. I think there are some very interesting possibilities. The potential is there for a strong storm system. At this stage, temperatures aren't cooperating,but not far off. If the storm is strong enough, and on the right track could be something to see!

Even the crappy GFS run brought some potent upslope snow to the TN/NC border..this is going to be a juiced up system. If you can smell the rain on this one you’re going to get annihilated

Edit: GFS runs west of the Apps, Icon tracks inland up the Carolina coast, CMC and Euro run OTS. At least we have this thing narrowed down..
