Going to be a close call for mby.. holding out hope.

How could you hate something you never get ?Because most people who forecast here hate snow lol ?
I was wondering too. I'm sitting at 33Is it because the models are off on temperatures? I am sitting 7 degrees below my forecasted high of the day.
Because they suck at forecasting it. Not enough experience with it in the south. They go with the little to no accumulation forecast because that’s usually how it ends up. If they are wrong, and people get snow, the public doesn’t really care bc they are happy to see it. It’s a clever tactic widely used in the south. How could you hate something you never get ?

So where are you chasing tomorrow ? Waco ?They just copy what the NWS says anyway tbh lol most don't even go out on a limb
But yeah it's also a pain to forecast

Hopefully, the latest trends on the models are wrong.
It's going to be painful watching whatever QPF we get before the best forcing shift SE be wasted on a cold rain, because of elevated surface temps/dewpoints.
Just like NCs setup, This setup for y’all is proving why we need a good, cold airmass in place, we got the active storm track but don’t got the good cold in place. It’s truly annoying, basically having to rely on heavy precip for every setup
I truly hope y’all can get some mesoscale banding around there to crash the column, DFW area truly deserves something that’s more than a little, I still definitely think it will snow around there but the question is how long will it take for the column to crashThis setup was so close to being something historic for DFW too.
If only the system slowed down a bit more, or if only the previous system just had moved out a bit faster...
Any other year if I saw this image I would be in heaven right now. Damn poopMan it's going to be close for some of Alabama folks View attachment 64635
Gonna be close for mby... Might get 1-2 inches out of it.Man it's going to be close for some of Alabama folks View attachment 64635
If we had any cold in the northern stream or if the upper energy wasn't shearing we could have tried to pull a miracleAny other year if I saw this image I would be in heaven right now. Damn poop

Brutal. On the other hand if we bust low on the max by 7 degrees like we did today we should be golden...Any other year if I saw this image I would be in heaven right now. Damn poop
This rain might be colder than the one we had yesterday for most of the day. Winning!this is close af and the closest run yet, imagine a slightly colder trend View attachment 64638View attachment 64639
I would only have to drive like 2 hours to WSW criteria if I wanted to. Thinking about it.
I'm thinking about somewhere local around my neck of woods, probably Yazoo or Vicksburg MS. I wanted to drive towards Shreveport but i dont feel like driving that far being I've already chased 4 times this year??Yeah I have so many options within 2 hours that's why I'm all over the place lol Abilene was 3

Lol this will be my 3rd trip in a week and a half (Abilene Tulsa this) and I'm going back to Tulsa on Wednesday to do some more looking around lmao
Nice part about Tulsa is that they're paying new residents $10K to live there.
For me, now the fact that no location looks to get double digit amounts takes the sting off missing this event.
I can take or leave (preferably leave) the dusting-1" crap (had more than enough of that up north), but I'd always be down for a big snowstorm.
Welp, Euro now paints my county lol![]()
