I do have to admit the short range and hi res models look good but everyone likes to hug the GFS
Where do I go to chase this thing close by? Do I need to go up to Natchez or all the way up to Vicksburg to see the white stuff?
Gfs looks a LITTLE better for n miss and n bama
Natchez might be ok. Shreveport would be better but that's a good ways away from you I think
Heavy snow over me while the gfs has rain ?
Debating if I should go southeast into that 2nd heavy band showing up(the yellow orange on the map above) lol definitely a lot of options if it fails here
Advantage no driving through the metro or the hated 35 plus more time to get ahead of it which is my concern with Waco or definitely Abilene

When the HRRR was the only model that still looked good and it turns to crap like the other models, that's definitely a reason to be worried.
