Well Dalla GA went from 45 to 43 over past hour here.... Looks like place back East closer to SC maybe dropped 2 to 3 degrees over past hour or so as well everyone eyes to East to see just how quickly and strong this CAD filters in

Dropped from 46.9 to 44.8 in about 2 hours. If it continues at that rate, we might approach freezing temps by early morning. Not sure this CAD can deliver the goods, though.
41/24 here. There's a nice slug of moisture headed this way for this evening. I see no way not to waste the bulk of it as rain here on the southern end of the ice storm warning.

Seems like the WAA is already blasting at the warm nose level so it'll only grow from here for WNC. It's still shallow for now.

Expecting a light glaze as we are in an ideal spot for a QPF min from the first wave. Guidance is now consistent and in good agreement we flip above 32 tomorrow around 1-2pm. The warm front gets about as far west as Hwy 17, a scenario where you can drive 20 miles with a 30 degree temp difference.

I was out walking my dog in Midtown Atlanta a bit ago and definitely had some drops of rain landing on us with nothing showing on radar.

Weather station on other side of the neighborhood had dropped from 41.9 to 40.3 in about 90 minutes when I checked it at 5 p.m.

I took pictures of all the trees around for before and after. It's a pretty sickening feeling knowing monday many of these trees could be toast. And the mess/clean up we will all have to deal with afterwords is really depressing.

Yes. Before the sun went down there were 20 birds all over my yard pecking around my compost pile. It is never that active normally.I’m in Atlanta and my dog is freaking out for no reason. Very unlike her. Maybe she senses something.
