My wet bulb is still 33.4, so I physically can’t get below freezing unless dryer air moves in. It’s been at a snails pace.

Just went outside. It is raining very lightly but I can hear the wind ripping over the ridge north of my house. Down to 39.2. Wet bulb is sinking, too, 36.9, slowly moving down.

Someone was talking the other day. About getting freezing rain temperatures in the teens. They weren't sure that could happen. I'm at 16.5 degrees right now. And got freezing rain and sleet coming down. Now I have seen it before. Years ago, it was 18 degrees, and nothing but freezing rain. Not even one sleet pellet. So it can't happen, I've seen it more than once. Currently 16.5/11 zr/ip

That's not snow to the north, it's mostly sleet up my way. And I stepped out a few minutes ago and there was a little freezing rain mixed in. Never experienced freezing rain at 18 degrees.

I got it now at 16.5 lol
This dry slot on the front end is sick. This thing was originally supposed to start way earlier. It’s totally dry here right now. Had tiny light freezing drizzle earlier for about 60 seconds and that was it

I do hear an occasional pinger but when I go out to look it’s dry as a desert
Patetown NC. 26/11. Not expecting much, normally this feel in the air would make you think something was on the horizon, maybe, maybe not. It's the south so just enjoy the cool air and the uncertainty that comes with being from these parts.

Where's the precip? Not that I'm complaining but find it odd. WYFF/WLOS, NWS, and most models had steady precip here by now. I've had diamond dust but nothing more since a passing sleet shower earlier.
