Pattern Jan 2025 Powered by Rheem AC

We are almost a week past the midaway point of met winter. Really has been a great one so far, minus snow accums. Had flakes fly 3 diff occasions.
Had great pattern 3 seperate times after this upcoming week. 1st week Dec,1st week Jan and now the 3rd week of Jan
So refreshing not seeing canada flooded with warm air. Top 5 coldest Jan occuring before our eyes
So where are we headed? If you bet the streak, and that works out way more than you think. We should have 6-7 weeks left to score once or twice more. All ive heard is Feb is toast all winter. So who knows, winter could shut down after this week. Curious to see how we shake out post this week.

No huge warm-up and winter is back after mid-month!

Edit: Well actually tonight he said he's blowing the month of February off, but winter is not over it comes back. I guess He's thinking March now? IDK to much back and forth lately... lol

18z GFS tried to make something happen with the bowling ball that comes out of the Southwest. We probably need it to come out a little slower like the 12z Euro showed. I'm actually digging this threat. Seems like we may have a decent window to score. Just need that bowling ball to come out when High pressure is in a decent position.

My soil temp (1' down) is still only down to 38 in N AL. I wonder what it would take to get it to freezing. I wish I had this sensor a year ago, that cold snap might have gotten it done. It was longer and colder.
 
I don’t think I can do this again. I remember this being fun. And this has been fun, but I think I’m too old now. Or out of practice. Cuz I’m exhausted.

And today/yesterday… the words I never thought would enter my mind… did. I am done with winter.

Not winter in general. Oh no. I want to do this again! But that’s enough for this winter. Thanks. A- (Dinged for messing up the last storm with the sleet and freezing rain).

Please tell me there isn’t another storm to track. I know that’s incredibly selfish. I know there are folks who still missed out. Y’all can have it all. Just tell me nothing is in the cards for Atlanta. It was 7 long years. But I’m good until December.

Or at least not until mid February. lol
