Wintry Jan 15-16 Winter Storm Discussion & Obs

GSP starting to mention higher wind gust now for much of its CWA. This is going to very serious for many of us unless we somehow get sleet rather than ZR. They now think the warm nose will go all the way to even Avery county now.

Winter Storm Warnings just issued for most of Middle Tennessee.

19z Hrrr looking to bring that snow line a bit closer to Atlanta. Those northern suburbs might be in for a surprise.
Let’s goooo. Bring it on. I can already tell I’m going to be sweating it out where I’ll be on the line of south Forsyth and north Fulton tonight. Going to razor right.

I do anticipate some sleet for the northern burbs at some point tonight. Not sure that’s really being communicated enough by the NWS.
