That action dropping down out over the Rockies has peaked my interest slightly. Looks like cold air is on the move south and east

Still going to cut trough axis along/w of the ms river. Would be much nicer to have these come through individually
I would like to see the trough exit the Atlantic and not rush into the Hudson Bay, leaving behind a Great Lakes Low. Unless that changes, it's going to cut.

CMC and GFS at same point in timeYeah that was the best ensemble run I've seen with respect to pressing the storm track / height field to the SE...need more of that though
Probably too + tilt here and becoming progressive in the W but I'd play the game with the base of this trough 10 out of 10 times
Need a little wave separation. Sharpen her up back west and it’s possible to time one up for somebody. Cold air isn’t entrenched ahead of time which is always worrisome but most of our storms are by the skin of our teeth anyway so what gives. Pretty screenshot here though.
Also this is probably just the GFS being the GFS where it has 50 different waves around one another at the same time colliding and it doesn’t it’s a** from a hole in the snow
