Tropical Hurricane Zeta

I still think GSP is underestimating wind gusts and possibly rainfall amounts around CLT. With that trough interaction, the fact that this storm is flying and its proximity to CLT- as in flying up through the mountains leads me to believe we will have gusts over 60 at times. I was in Atlanta when Opal hit, grew up in Woodstock. And that storm track was well west of Atlanta and still caused all that tree damage. Will we get 70mph wind gusts like FFC is predicting? I doubt it. But I wouldn't say it isn't possible. Especially with any mixing from heavier showers and storms. Just my opinion though. I could be wrong, it's been known to happen.

Starting to wonder if these soundings have enough cape to compensate for this amount of shear (cape in the 1km/3km and all the way up to the 6km layer , and if there could be some very low topped rotating stuff Like what the hrrr appears to show 54D3DEC9-A553-4795-AEFE-40575025A991.png451F9F91-53EF-4B23-A6D3-FA3DA7CF9F2A.jpeg
